The World Poker Championship will begin this Friday at the Grand Loyal Poker Club in Hanoi. The club is getting ready for the event. The series will last for ten days, and the South East Asia Poker Tour will be a part of it. There are a total of 19 events, but less than half of them have solid prize pool guarantees.
Information about the World Poker Championship
If a player wants to go to Hanoi to compete in the series, there will be 19 events with more than VN 20 Billion (US$ 854,800) up for grabs. The events will go on for ten days in the capital of Vietnam, which is the 25th.
The series will have something for every type of player and every size of bankroll. There will be a wide range of buy-ins for the games. There are both low and high-stakes events. The Super Star Challenge has one of the highest buy-ins, so high rollers are likely to take part.
Satellites will also be available to help players get into the tournaments for less money. This is a great way for players with small bankrolls to get into a tournament with a high buy-in.
What’s Going On?
The Main Event is the tournament that people are most excited about. This Online poker tournament starts on September 20 and costs VN 20M (about US$ 855) to enter. The prize is VN 8 billion, which is about US$341,900.
On Wednesday and Thursday, Day 1A, 1B, 1C, and 1D of the Main Event will take place. Thursday will also be the day of the 1D event, which will be a Turbo event. Day 2 will be on Friday, September 23. The Final Table will be on Saturday, September 24.
During the three qualifiers for the event, there will be a 40-minute break between Bling levels. The blinds for the turbo option will be every 25 minutes. If you make it to Day 2, you will automatically get paid and move on to the last day. The Main Event is expected to have one of the biggest crowds of the whole series.
